Dr. Chren developed one of the most widely used quality of life measures in dermatology, Skindex-16, and has 20 years of experience using Skindex-16 in research. She has helped develop and validate several other PROs over her career, including the Skindex-61, Skindex-29, Skindex-Mini, aBCCdex, and MelasQoL. She currently oversees the electronic implementation of Skindex-16 in Vanderbilt Dermatology clinics.
